Terms of Use

By downloading or using Tocka, these terms automatically apply to you, so please read them carefully before using the app.

The licence

Tocka is licensed to you, not sold. You’re not allowed to copy or modify the app, any part of it, or my trademarks in any way; attempt to extract the source code; or translate the app or make derivative versions. The app itself, and all trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, remain the property of Justin Guedes. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Changes to the service

I am committed to making the app as useful and efficient as possible, and reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services at any time and for any reason. I will never charge you for the app or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you’re paying for.

Your device

You’re responsible for keeping your phone and access to the app secure. I recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone — it could make your phone vulnerable to malware and compromise its security features, and it could mean Tocka won’t work properly or at all. You should also make sure your device stays charged; if it runs out of battery and you can’t turn it on to use the Service — including any alarms you’ve set — I can’t accept responsibility.

Relying on the app

While I endeavour to keep the app updated and correct at all times, some information (such as time zone data for the world clock) comes from your device and third parties. I accept no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the app — please don’t rely on Tocka alone for critical wake-ups or time-sensitive events.

Updates and termination

I may from time to time update the app, which is currently available for iOS — the requirements for the system may change, and you’ll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the app. I don’t promise that the app will always be updated so that it is relevant to you or compatible with the iOS version on your device. I may also wish to stop providing the app and may terminate its use at any time without notice. Unless stated otherwise, upon any termination the rights and licences granted to you in these terms will end, and you must stop using and, if needed, delete the app.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time; changes are posted on this page, and the date above reflects the latest revision. These terms are effective as of 23 July 2026.
