Privacy Policy

Justin Guedes built the Tocka app as a free app. This service is provided by Justin Guedes at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page informs you of my policies around the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information for anyone who uses the Service. By choosing to use Tocka, you agree to the practices described in this policy. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described here.

The short version

Tocka works without knowing who you are. Your alarms, timers, world clocks, and preferences live on your device. Nothing you create in Tocka is collected by me; the only exception is anonymised diagnostic data if the app encounters an error, as described below.

Information collection and use

Tocka does not ask you to create an account. Any settings or content you create in the app (alarms, timers, chosen skins, world clock cities) are retained on your device and are not collected by me. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Log data

If an error occurs in the app, I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called log data. This log data may include information such as your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app at the time of the error, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. It is used solely to diagnose and fix problems.

Service providers

I may employ third-party services to facilitate the Service or assist in diagnosing problems (such as the error reporting described above). These third parties have access only to the information needed to perform those tasks on my behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Security

I value your trust, so I strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting any information the app handles. Remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. You must be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries a parent or guardian may consent on your behalf). If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information through the app, please contact me.

Changes to this privacy policy

I may update this policy from time to time; changes are posted on this page, and the date above reflects the latest revision. This policy is effective as of 23 July 2026.
